Course Overview
Unity is a cross-platform game engine developed by Unity Technologies, which is primarily used to develop both three-dimensional and two-dimensional video games and simulations for computers, consoles, and mobile devices. We will leverage the Unity3D platform to develop a game. In the process, we will familiarize ourselves with workflows and key concepts needed to start your career in game development.

Course Outline
In this module, we’ll explore the fundamentals of the unity3d game engine. We will focus on installing the engine, setting up a project and getting acquainted with the user interface.
Module 1: Exploring Unity3d -- installing, setting up & the User Interface
In this module, we’ll explore the fundamentals of the unity3d game engine. We will focus on installing the engine, setting up a project and getting acquainted with the user interface.
Module 2: Introduction to C# programming
The C# programming language is how we add interactivity to our games and in this module, we will dive into learning the language. C# is a very robust language which has a web development background and learning C# can allow you to take what you learn and pursue a career in web or game development.
Module 3: Game Objects and Game Behaviours
Game Objects and Game Behaviours are the building block within the Unity3D game engine for creating a game. In this module, we will cover importing, creating and adding interactivity to Game Objects through Game Behaviours.
Module 4: Game Design 101
This module introduces you to the basic concepts of game design and gamification. This is how we design our experience and game.
Module 5: Capstone Project
Our capstone project will take everything we learned and combine it to produce a clone of the popular “Flappy Bird” game.
