  • UWI-ALJGSB wins 1st place in Teaching and Learning Quality at ACTT Awards

    The UWI-Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business, an ACTT-accredited institution, was recognized for their quality of teaching and learning as they were able to secure 1st Place for Teaching and Learning at the Quality in Tertiary Education (QuiTE) Awards Ceremony of the Accreditation Council of Trinidad and Tobago (ACTT) on Tuesday 31st October 2017.

    The Business School won the category, competing among several other tertiary level institutions and also walked away with an Honorable Mention Award for Excellence in an established Quality Management System.

  • Official ALJGSB Debate Club LogoThe ALJGSB Debate Club hosted its 4th Art of Debate Workshop on Saturday 16th September 2017 at the Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business North Campus, Mt. Hope from 9am to 12pm.

    The 1st half of the workshop featured guest lecturers on the practice of effective debating by Communications Specialist Mr. Deodath Ojah Maharaj and the youngest ever Independent Senator in Trinidad and Tobago Mr. Nikoli Edwards.


  • T&T jumps 11 places in the World Economic Forum Global Competitiveness Report 2017-2018

    The World Economic Forum’s (WEF) Global Competitiveness Report (GCR) 2017 – 2018 ranked some 137 countries, which accounts for 98% of global GDP thus making it the most comprehensive global report of its kind. The national results for Trinidad & Tobago were released by the Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business, on Wednesday 27th September 2017 at the school’s North Campus, revealed that T&T moved up 11 places in this year’s report. Specifically, T&T ranked 83, up from 94 in the 2016-2017 survey.
