Dr. Wolfgang Koenig is an adjunct member of faculty who has lectured in "Multinational Strategic Management" at the Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business.
A Professor of Economics at the University of
Goettingen, Germany , he has lectured and published widely on international and
development economics and served as consultant to national and international
organizations.
Dr. Konig studied business administration at the Free University of Berlin,
followed by postgraduate studies at the London School of Economics, where he
received a Master`s in Economics. After two years as a research fellow at the
Colegio de Mexico , Mexico City, he obtained a Ph.D. in Business
Administration from the Free University of Berlin in 1968.
Prior to his chair at the University of Goettingen, Dr. Konig held the
positions of Assistant Professor of Economics at The Catholic University of
America, Washington, D.C. and of Economic Affairs Officer of the UN Economic
Commission for Latin America.
His areas of interest, as demonstrated by a number of publications, are Latin American integration movements, international business cooperation and international subcontracting. As a Director of the Institute of Small Business at the University of Goettingen , Dr. Konig was involved in the Development Policy of the German Government for the benefit of small and medium sized companies in Third World Nations.
