Renata is an expert Trainer/Consultant in the area of Marketing/Services Management, Talent Development and Personal Branding; and has conducted successful training and people development interventions in both private and public sector organizations such as Neal & Massy, ANSA McAL, Unilever, bpTT, Hilton Trinidad, Nestlé, GTECH, Guardian Holdings Ltd., First Citizens Bank, Republic Bank, Trinidad Cement Ltd., UWI, TDC, Immigration Division and Government Ministries, among others.
She is currently the Adviser to the Minister of Information. Previously, she was Head of Learning & Culture at CMMB and has worked at Neal & Massy Holdings, Lok Jack School of Business, BWIA (now Caribbean Airlines) where collectively she was involved in the areas of Strategic Planning, Marketing, Customer Service and Human Resources.
Renata was the recipient of an International Scholarship. She is a graduate of Concordia University, Montreal, Canada where she obtained her M.B.A. in International Marketing Management, and The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine, Trinidad, where she completed her B.A. (Hons). She is also certified by the Centre for Creative Leadership (CCL) in “Developing Leadership Talent”.
As a Faculty Member of the GSB, Renata lectures “Services Marketing” on the MSc. Marketing Degree Programme and is also an Examiner for graduate courses in Corporate Communications and Public Relations & Events. She also facilitates the “Workplace Protocol for Students” Co-curricular Course at UWI, St. Augustine. Over the years, Renata has conducted numerous workshops in Antigua, St. Lucia, Barbados, Guyana and Trinidad & Tobago.
She is interested in researching Marketing/Service Quality, People Development and Organisation Design issues pertaining to local and regional companies and has written many articles on these topics for the Business Guardian. Moreover, she authored a successful weekly column on Corporate Etiquette. To support her training and consulting Renata brings a wealth of professional and personal experiences. Being free spirited in nature her sessions are always high-energy and engaging; she enjoys listening to music, experiencing different cultures, encountering interesting people and writing reflective poetry.
