Patrick Vincent is an accomplished Petroleum Economist and Commercial Manager with a deep and comprehensive understanding of the oil and gas industry. He is currently the Upstream Strategy Specialist at Petrotrin, the state-owned integrated oil company. Previously, he was the Commercial Development Manager at Canadian Superior Energy Inc. He has worked at BG Trinidad and Tobago where he held various senior positions including Asset Manager of Central Block. Mr. Vincent has also worked at the National Gas Company and the Ministry of Energy. During his long-spanning career in the energy sector he was involved in the areas of Strategic Planning, Performance Management and Financial and Economic Analysis of investments.
Mr. Vincent was the recipient of an OAS Scholarship. He is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University, University Park, USA where he obtained his MS. in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering, and The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine, Trinidad, where he completed his B.SC. in Chemical Engineering and Post Graduate Diploma in Management Studies. He also has a Diploma in Financial Management from ACCA.
Patrick teaches in the areas of Project Economic Evaluation and Risk Analysis and Decision Making. He is the Managing Director of his own company, Experture and has been a Faculty Member with the GSB since January 2009.
Mr. Vincent has been a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) for over 25 years. He is interested in strategy development, investment decision making and mentoring. He enjoys listening to music, hiking and relaxing at the beach.
