Noel Nunes is an adjunct member of faculty lecturing in the areas of finance and accounting. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree in International Finance and an Undergraduate degree (Upper Second Class Honours) with a double major in Economics and Accounting.
Mr. Nunes has acquired a wealth of experience in the field of finance covering areas such as risk profiling of licensed financial institutions (licensed under the Financial Institutions Act 1993), liquidation of assets of failed financial institutions, bank supervision and capital markets trading.
In 1999, Mr. Nunes was a registered Trader in equities and bonds with stock brokerage firm Trinidad and Tobago Stocks and Shares Limited before joining the Bank Supervision Department of the Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago . At the Central Bank he was trained in the area of risk-based supervision covering areas such as:

He has vast exposure in Financial and Management Accounting covering the Manufacturing and Health Services Sector.
Mr. Nunes is currently the Risk Assessment, Insurance and Liquidations Officer attached to the Deposit Insurance Corporation. Since joining that institution in November 2002, he has undergone extensive training in Deposit Insurance at the Canadian Deposit Insurance Corporation and has attended overseas conferences held by the International Association of Deposit Insurers domiciled in Basel , Switzerland .
