An adjunct member of faculty, Balraj Kistow is the facilitator for International and Caribbean Environment in the International MBA programme.
Mr. Kistow graduated from The University of the West Indies in 1993 with a B.Sc. in Management Studies (First Class Honours) and a Masters in Management Studies (Majoring in Accounting) in 1996. He was a recipient of a special award from the Society of Management Accounting of Ontario, Canada for his thesis on Activity Based Costing.
Mr. Kisto began his career as an auditor with a leading accounting firm in Trinidad and Tobago and later jointed the Public Utilities Commission (PUC) as an Assistant Executive Director. During his time at the PUC he was involved in the transition of the PUC to the Regulated Industries Commission. He also served for a short time as a Research Assistant with the Department of Management, UWI, St Augustine and has published several articles in the areas of Accounting, Small Business Management and Utility Regulation.
At present Mr Kistow is attached to the Arima Senior Comprehensive School where he teaches A level Accounting and is a Local tutor and E-tutor with the UWI Distance Education Programme in the areas of Caribbean Business Environment, Financial and Cost Accounting and Organizational Behaviour.
