Overview

With change comes fear and resistance. Overcoming such obstacles requires that you bridge the gap between management and leadership. This course provides insight into the key ingredients for 'change leadership' and explores the idea that leaders are indeed the catalytic drivers of effective organisational change. Of paramount importance is the process of transforming managers into leaders and focus will be afforded to the fundamental skills and competencies that must be nurtured and developed by managers as they undertake this transformation process.

At the end of this programme, you would have developed an important competitive advantage as a leader. Over the 3-day period, we will analyze the forces that drive organisations to change, examine impediments to change, and consider approaches for making organisational change more effective.

      • Problem Solving Devices
      • Performance Management: The Balanced Scorecard
      • Planning in light of economic changes, the implementation of control mechanisms and Evaluating Systems. This includes preparing and using master and flexible budgets as well as analyzing budget variances.

Facilitator: Mrs. Kavita Ramdeen

Mrs. Kavita Ramdeen completed her legal studies in the United Kingdom. She subsequently pursued and achieved her Masters in Business Administration with merit also in the United Kingdom as well as other competency based certifications in the field of law and business administration. She has contributed extensively both locally and internationally and in particular has served in a project management portfolio at Lloyds TSB, Head Office, Cannons House, Bristol, United Kingdom.

As a leader of the Telephony Change Management Steering Group, she was tasked with the delivery and implementation of a series of Change Initiatives within Telephony (electronic banking products and services).

Certification

Certificates will only be issued to participants who have attained a minimum attendance rate of 75% for the duration of the course.

Course Cancellation/ Reschedule Policy

Arthur Lok Jack GSB (ALJGSB) reserves the right to cancel training at any time. If ALJGSB cancels the training due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of ALJGSB, you are entitled to a full refund of the course fee, or your course fee can be credited toward a future training, based upon availability (providing payments have been made before original advertised date).

ALJGSB reserves the right to reschedule training at any time. If ALJGSB reschedules training due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of ALJGSB, the training will take place at the next available time. Participants will be informed via phone and/or e-mails.
