Measuring Corporate Success

Measuring Corporate Success
October 9-10th 2008

In today's knowledge economy characterized by short product and service life cycles and a growing number of global competitors, the success of a firm hinges heavily on its ability to develop and implement strategy as well as its ability to measure the performance of its tangible and intangible assets.

While most firms develop plausible strategies for success, few are able to effectively tell whether their strategy is being successfully implemented. This program focuses on how to measure performance at three different levels of the organization: the corporate level, the business unit level, and the program level. Armed with performance data, organizations are better able to chart a course to success.

Participants will be introduced to three best practice models used to measure performance at each level. Participants will be taught the principles underlying each method, and will also be taught how to develop a comprehensive performance measurement framework for their own organizations. Participants are urged to bring a copy of their company's business/strategic plan to the workshop.
