Interim Alumni Board Lunch
Calling for nominations for the establishment of an Interim Alumni Board.
The purpose of the GSB Interim Alumni Board is to build and maintain a relationship with the alums of the GSB in a manner that is mutually beneficial to both parties.
The general activities of the Alumni Fraternity will be carried out by the standing committee of the Interim Alumni Board. They will aid in the guidance of strategic ventures that shall help develop and grow the objectives of the committee. The Board will comprise of at least one (1) individual from each programme offered by the Lok Jack GSB and the Alumni liaison person along with one (1) other member from the Lok Jack GSB staff.
The Board shall hold quarterly meetings at a venue and time convenient to all members. These meetings shall not be limited to only the discussion of the transactions of the business of the Fraternity, but will serve as a forum where the present graduating class may be invited to attend and address his/her concerns and ideas of the Association; Lecturers and Consultants may also use these meetings to address any issues that they may wish to raise. These invitations may be pro-active on the part of the Association whereby we extend the invitation, or it can be requested by the concerned persons. Acceptance of a request for attended to the meetings shall be determined by the Board.
Sub-committees shall be developed to micro-manage specific activities such as communications/public relations, events, mentorship programme, reunions etc. At least one board member will be required to sit in any sub-committee that is established. This will help serve as a bridge between committees and ensure that each faction is operating in synergy and cohesion towards not only achieving the Fraternity’s objectives, but also to maximize the returns to both the Business School and the Alumni.
Interested alumni are asked to submit the information at s.gajadhar@gsb.tt.
