FAQs

Why a Lok Jack GSB Master of Marketing Degree?

With an emphasis on the application of cutting-edge marketing concepts, tools and techniques in real world business settings, this unique programme is designed to provide students with an opportunity to:

What is the difference between the MS-Marketing programme and the MBA programme?

The Master of Marketing is designed to allow students to focus more specifically on marketing. Another difference is that the MBA programme requires at least two years post-undergraduate work experience. The Master of Marketing programme does not have this requirement (although some students have a year or two of post-undergraduate work experience). Since many of the Master of Marketing students have limited business experience, the programme is designed to be very applications oriented. Each semester students work on real marketing projects for companies. Opportunities are provided, through small group interactions with visiting executives and a required marketing leadership seminar, for students to interact with marketing leaders.
